ROCKHARD LABORATORIES GETS SERIOUS WITH COUNTERFEITERS
Atlanta, Georgia – June 28, 2010
RockHard Laboratories is taking action against several companies in China and the United States to stop the importation, distribution and sale of counterfeit products and the unauthorized use of RockHard Laboratories trademarks. RockHard Laboratories has been working closely with U. S Customs and Border Protection, the U.S. Marshal’s office and the Food and Drug Administration’s Office of Criminal Investigations along with legal advisors in the United States and Asia to combat the activities of these counterfeiters.
RockHard Laboratories has issued cease and desist letters to all of the companies known to be manufacturing or selling the counterfeit RockHard Weekend products. A Notice of Claimed Intellectual Property Infringement also has been filed with Alibaba.com, the owner and operator of a website where the foreign counterfeiters are attempting to sell their products.
RockHard Laboratories has invested substantial time and resources to gain its reputation for high quality, effective products, and it will continue to make the investments necessary to protect that reputation and goodwill.
RockHard Laboratories pursues numerous strategies to monitor and address the sale of counterfeit and illegally imported products. RockHard Laboratories is currently working with authorities against the aforementioned counterfeiters with additional legal action likely to be taken as events unfold. In the meantime, the counterfeit RockHard Weekend products can be identified in several ways:
- The counterfeit RockHard Weekend pill color is a muted, light green, which differs significantly from the dark charcoal gray color of the authentic product.
- The lot numbers are printed rather than stamped on the labels
- Warning font is bigger and different on the counterfeit RockHard Weekend bottles
- Counterfeit directions are in regular font, not in bold like the true RockHard Weekend.
The sexual enhancer category is riff with counterfeit products, it is therefore not surprising that counterfeiters are now targeting the popular and high quality RockHard products. RockHard Laboratories performs extensive testing to ensure the safety and quality of its products, which may not be true of the counterfeit products. RockHard Weekend is working diligently to put a stop to these companies that are breaking the law and potentially endangering unsuspecting consumers with a product that has not gone through proper, professional testing.
